6016 Theatre is run by Gareth Morgan
Gareth is a dramaturg, theatre-maker and schools’ facilitator based in Nottingham. He is an Associate Artist at Nottingham Playhouse working specifically on new work and writing. Other regional theatres and companies he has worked with include Manchester Royal Exchange, Bristol Old Vic, New Perspectives Theatre Company, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Derby Theatre, Excavate, Zest, Theatre Writing Partnership - where he was Literary Assistant for two years - and Cast in Doncaster - as Literary Associate. As a theatre-maker his work has been performed at The Bike Shed in Exeter and the SEAS and NEAT international theatre festivals. 

He also runs Act 2: an East Midlands new writing project, based at Nottingham Playhouse. He is co-producer of Nottingham's fringe theatre festival, FONT Fest and works with the College Street Centre in Nottingham on arts and education projects in Nottingham primary schools, specifically Opportunity Notts. He was a finalist in the Dramaturgs' Network 2016 Kenneth Tynan Award for his support of and work with writers across the East Midlands.

Gareth read Drama at the University of Bristol, graduating with first class honours, and trained further with master's degree in Theatre Practice: Playwriting and Dramaturgy at the University of Exeter.
